• a. Photos: We collect the photos you take within the App or choose from your gallery for the purpose of generating a haiku based on the contents of the photo.

We utilize the information we collect to provide the following services and enhance your experience with the App:

• a. Haiku Generation: By analyzing your photos through machine learning algorithms, we create a unique haiku based on the content of the photo.
• b. App Enhancement: We may employ your information to examine usage trends and refine the overall performance, functionality, and user experience of the App.

4. Information Sharing and Disclosure

We value your privacy and are committed to keeping your information secure. Here is how we handle your data:

• a. Third-Party Services: We utilize the API of Replicate (Replicate, Inc.) to analyze your photos for haiku generation. The photos are stored on Replicate servers temporarily during processing and are subject to Replicate's privacy policy. We do not share your information with any other third-party services.
• b. Data Retention: The photos are cached on our server to enhance usability but are inaccessible to others. These photos are deleted from our server after a short period and are only retained locally on your device's document directory, which may be stored in the cloud depending on your Google or Apple settings.
• c. Legal Obligations: We may disclose your information if required by law, in response to a subpoena or court order, or when we believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to protect our rights, protect your safety or the safety of others, investigate fraud, or respond to a government request.
• d. Business Transfers: In the event of a merger, acquisition, reorganization, or sale of all or a portion of our assets, your information may be transferred as part of the transaction. We will notify you of any such change in ownership or control of your information.

5. Your Choices and Rights

You have the right to request the deletion of your data associated with the App. To do so, please open the "Support" section in the app and send the shown user id to haikulens.delete@namutec.com. We will process your request promptly and delete any associated data in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.

6. Changes to this Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will notify you by revising the "Last updated" date at the beginning of the Privacy Policy. Your continued use of the App after any changes to this Privacy Policy will constitute your acceptance of such changes.
